I love mine that I've made out of Rowan's All Seasons Cotton. Allthough it is still suprizingly very warm.
Is the cotton yarn you're using very stretchy?

The Cotton Ease is a cotton blend (just like All Seasons) so it's a lot stretchier than the all cotton yarns. It's actually pretty nice to work with.
