Cotton Yarns

Hello friends! I've been getting quite a few emails asking about using Cotton Yarns for the Ribby.

Has anyone used Cotton Twist (Berocco) ?

Any yarn you particulary liked or think would look good?

I'm making one out of ggh Samoa - but would welcome any suggestions for other yarns you all might have.

Many Thanks!

:) Bonne Marie

I thought Katia 'Diana' would be awesome.

I made mine out of Rowan's All Seasons Cotton and it turned out fabulously.. I really love it. It has enough stretch to hold in the ribbing.. it's great : )

im making mine of Cascade sierra, 80% pima cotton 20% wool. the wool gives it a little strech, and the cotton is light and cool.

Just started mine in Pachuko Organic Cotton - it's so pretty! I was all atwitter about using cotton, but so far the ribbing is nice, I'm doing the flat panel version, and I'm looking forward to it being my new favorite throw it on kind of sweater.

Just started mine from the Pachuko organic cotton from Elann after overcoming my irrational fear of knitting with 100% cotton - I think it's going along quite well, and the ribbing seems just fine. I'm doing the plain panel version with the body in vanilla and the sleeves in avocado - mmmm.
