Collar dilemma
I'm getting pretty close to done with this sweater - all the pieces are done (the second sleeve is blocking as we speak), and I've done the front bands. Tomorrow I'm going to seam it and do the collar. I've ruled out the mock turtleneck, but am having a hard time deciding between the rather minimalist rolled collar and the full-out 5 1/2" ribbed collar. Which should I do?? What are y'all planning on doing? I'm just curious...

I don't know how to answer your question, as I'm wondering the same thing... I wonder why the pattern didn't include pictures of the different options. You'd think they would've actually had to make it in various ways in order to know the instructions are valid, so why not include the pictures?
Does anyone know of pictures of finished Ribby Cardi's, so we can browse around and look at how the different options turned out?

Thanks so much for finding those pictures! Hmmm, I like the looks of the ribbed collar, there goes my plan to do the simple rolled collar. Now I don't know which one to do ... I still have lots of time to make up my mind, but still :-)

Thanks for the photos - they look good... but I'm still not sure. Sigh. I may just knit the rolled collar, try on the sweater, and if I'm not into it, frog it and do the ribbed collar. After all, the rolled collar is only eight rows, so frogging it wouldn't be too painful...

I'm going to do the ribbed collar - I was already leaning that way, but now after seeing the picture, I think that one looks the best.
