Casting on

Hello,

A friend suggested to me that I should use the "tubular cast-on" method since the bottom of this sweater is ribbed. Problem is I don't know how to do the tubular cast-on. I've done a search on the web but I haven't found any instructions that I can really understand. I need pictures! Does anyone know where I can find instructions for how to do this? Or, what cast on methods are you all using. I want something that will be elastic with the ribbing along the bottom and the sleeve cuffs.
